Figure-eight through the dunes and Egmond-Binnen

After a cup of coffee at Herberg Binnen, put on your walking shoes. You will also come here again for lunch, after a tour through the greenery. From Egmond Binnen you can then walk straight into the dunes. Some peaks are more than thirty meters high, so that you occasionally have beautiful panoramas over the dunes and the underlying polder landscape. The wind has less say here. Especially when you walk into the dune forest, you suddenly become aware of the silence. Behind the dune tops you will find a varied open and wooded area, where you can walk in the shelter. Numerous plants and animals find a home here. This is the North Holland Dune Reserve: a rarity in Europe due to the enormous variety of plant and animal species.
