Description
Put on your walking shoes and enjoy the surroundings of the Achterhoek. Stay in the attractive Hotel and Restaurant Hof van Gelre. Then it is time to explore the surroundings of Lochem. Characteristic of the region are the extensive meadows with hedgerows - the so-called bocage landscape. You walk through the cozy and characteristic Lochem. Along the way you will pass Boutique Hotel BonAparte and De Cloese Castle. The castle is located on the north bank of the Berkel river. The castle was built in 1520. Don't forget to bring your camera, because it is a picturesque and photogenic castle. If you are looking for peace and space and want to enjoy nature and landscape: during this route you walk through the rolling landscape of the Lochemse Berg.
