Cycling through the past from Lanaken

This tour takes you through the picturesque Maasland, but also visits the beautiful nature of the Hoge Kempen National Park. You visit the sights in Lanaken and discover gems in the surrounding municipalities of Maasmechelen, Zutendaal and Riemst. The starting point of the tour is in Domein Pietersheim, a former princely castle park. Visit the 12th century Pietersheim Water Castle and take a break at the Pietersheim Petting Zoo. You continue the route past beautiful views in Maasmechelen and Zutendaal. Then you cycle towards Riemst to view the unique Vroenhoven Bridge.
