Tour of Kampereiland: Kampen, Hasselt and Zwolle

Your cycle route starts at the Zalkerveer and Theehuis. At the tea house you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or drink with delicious homemade cakes and biscuits. In the summer the terrace is open and you sit in a fantastic spot with a view of the IJssel. From here you first cycle to Kampen. From the other side of the river you have a beautiful view of the Bovenkerk, a cruciform basilica whose construction began in the twelfth century. At the Kamperzeedijk you will pass the steam pumping station Mastenbroek. This building from 1855 is in the Top 100 of National Monuments. Further on you drive through the beautiful polders on the Kampereiland. In Genemuiden you cycle past the Philadelphia care location De Spil. A little further on you have a beautiful view of the Hanseatic cities of Hasselt and Zwolle.
