Tour of castles and estates

Your route starts at Camperplaats De Ruitenborgh in the Overijssel Vechtdal. This region is home to numerous historic country estates and castles, such as Havezate Ruitenborgh. This estate, located in the hamlet of Ankum, has been renovated several times. Huize Den Berg is surrounded by a park of approximately 60 hectares, get off here and enjoy this beautiful environment. Rechteren Castle near Dalfsen is also a beautiful location to admire the estate. In picturesque Vilsteren you will see many beautiful houses and farms. The beautiful Landgoed Vilsteren is inhabited and not accessible. You will also pass the Leemcule. The history of the estate goes back to the fourteenth century, although a new country house was built in 1828.

Please note: the ferry does not operate in winter between junctions 85 and 90. Then drive from 63 to 61, 60, 69, 90 and pick up the route again.
