Castle tour Ruurlo and Vorden

Bakery Hengelo is located in Hengelo in Gelderland, near Puur Natuur. It is not a real catering facility, but you are welcome to pick up a delicious pastry or sandwich for on the road. Then you get on your bike and drive across Landgoed Het Zand. In the Middle Ages it was part of the Marke Hattemer. Between the many planted trees you can enjoy beautiful avenues and vistas. The route leads you further to Ruurlo. You pass the main attraction of the village: Ruurlo Castle, a country estate from around 1326. Just before Vorden, take a look at Kieftskamp Castle, from the Lindeseweg. Vorden is a real castle village. Further on you pass Molen Ons Belang, a beautiful thatched corn mill from 1890.
