A tour of Waterrijk in Park Lingezegen

Goat farm and campsite De Grote Bredelaar is located in the heart of Park Lingezegen. From here you can take a nice walk through the Lingewaard. Park Lingezegen is a new landscape park between Arnhem and Nijmegen. There is not only room here for recreation and nature, but also for agriculture, culture and water. The total area covers 1700 hectares, or 3400 football fields. It consists of various sub-areas, such as Het Waterrijk, which revolves around water - including water for storage. Here you will pass Moeras Hoeders, a work of art in public space. The large colossus looms on the Kampsestraat. They symbolically guard the newly created marshes, created for safety and because of the natural values. You can swim and canoe on the northwest side, at the Rijkerswoerdse Plassen, which you can walk right through.
