Cycling past Twente's top highlights

Your route starts near Vasse. Ootmarsum is known as the art town of Eastern Netherlands. You will find all kinds of museums and art galleries here where you can indulge if you are an art lover, but the historic alleys of Ootmarsum are also worth a visit. The Singraven estate with its monumental buildings is beautifully situated on the Dinkel river. House Singraven can be visited accompanied by a guide, definitely do it! Nearby you can get off at Streekrestaurant 't Sterrebos for a cup of coffee. Then you cycle through the Agelerbroek forest area, which together with the Voort and Voltherbroek form a beautiful stream valley. A little later you drive into the forests of the Springendal. This nature reserve, nicknamed the 'Garden of the Netherlands', is not accessible to motorized traffic.
