Tour Bruinisse, Krammer and Grevelingenmeer

Your walk starts at Hote Bru in Bruinisse, a beautiful village at the eastern tip of Schouwen-Duiveland. At the hotel you will find the Petit kitchen & bar restaurant, where you can enjoy something to eat and drink before starting the route. Bruinisse was founded in the fifteenth century, after the then island of Duiveland was diked on the east side. Little of the original old center has been preserved. Yet Bruinisse exudes that typical Zeeland atmosphere. In Oudheidkamer Bruinisse (Busea) you will learn more about the fishing past of this village. It is housed in a stylish eighteenth-century monument that has been preserved in almost its original state. From the Stoofpolder you have beautiful views over the water of the Krammer. The Hageweg overlooks the Grevelingenmeer.
