Description
Leisure & Camping Breehees is an ideal stopover during this cycling tour in the beautiful surroundings of Tilburg. Extensive forests, meadows and fens, you will find them all within a very short distance of this nice, hospitable terrace. From Goirle you cycle towards the green surroundings of Tilburg. Then you will discover the Chaamse Bossen, once a rugged area with sand drifts and wet heathland. Scots pine was frequently planted here between 1900 and 1935. The fens were drained and where the area was too wet, grassland was created. A piece of Bels Lijntje, a former railway line, leads you to Riel and Molen Zandeind. During the Cold War, this was an air force lookout post to spot low-flying aircraft. Have fun discovering the beautiful Brabant nature!
