Alphen-Chaam, North Brabant, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 1269338
Provided by: route.nl
Your cycling route starts at the Belgian border, where you immediately join the cycle path along the beautiful river De Mark. The natural meandering course of the Mark has been restored about 15 years ago, which has improved the fish stock in the Mark. The Mastbos, a little further away, dates from the sixteenth century. You will see stately beech avenues, but also conifers. The forest was managed for hunting and timber production. The forest is extremely valuable, like a natural museum. After a visit to the heart of the city, you cycle back, along the Mark. Get off for a moment to enjoy the view from the bridge before you continue cycling via Ulvenhout.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
