Tour of Noorderbos, Noorderplas and Moleneind

This walk starts with a cup of coffee at Pancake restaurant De Finance. Order a delicious pancake here and you'll be able to handle it for a while! Then you walk through the Noorderbos, which was created in 2001. It is part of Pauwels Landscape Park, between Loon op Zand and Tilburg. Here you mainly see pedunculate oaks and robinias, a beautiful place to enjoy nature near the city. Birds such as tree pipit, warbler, chiffchaff and willow warbler are common. The Noorderplas has been renovated considerably, a lot of vegetation has been removed so that the entire former sand extraction lake can now be seen. It must become a lake with a nature and landscape function. Two bridges provide a connection to the Noorderbos. A beautiful path through the Moleneind nature reserve leads you back to your starting point.
