Description
Jump on your bike and explore the area between Wijk bij Duurstede and Houten. You start at Camping't Boomgaardje, a cozy mini campsite that is open all year round. You have a beautiful view of the vast meadows from the campsite. You can fully enjoy the peace and nature here. During the tour you will pass many castles, including Kasteel Beverweerd, a 13th-century castle surrounded by beautiful gardens. Get off, you can walk in the surrounding gardens and from here you have a beautiful view of the Kromme Rijn. In the spring, the nearby shrubs are beautifully in blossom. Enjoy this wonderful bike ride along the castles and spend the night at Camping't Boomgaardje to cycle even more in the area.
