Description
During this route you walk through the Nieuw Wulven forest. In the forest you will also find a play forest for children where they can drag branches and play around the water. You also walk past Fort bij Vechten, which is part of the Dutch Waterline. The fort is located some distance from the city to the east and served to prevent or hinder artillery attacks on the city of Utrecht and on defenses located behind the fort. Then you walk back to Houten.
