Along the IJssel

The area's managers are Scottish highlanders and Icelandic horses, which must prevent overgrowth. The area consists of grassland, riparian forest, shrubs and a secondary channel that is in contact with the IJssel. Along the way you will also pass a number of rest points. A rest point offers the opportunity for a short stop with residents in the rural area of Salland. The rest points are marked during opening hours by means of a rest point sign.
