Description

You first walk to the hamlet of Raakeind, where you see beautiful farms. What an authentic landscape with the lane added! You almost automatically walk into the Ulvenhoutse Bos, the oldest parts of which were laid out more than a thousand years ago and are known for beautiful plants such as the slender primrose and wood anemone. The old sessile oak-beech forest of 112 hectares has been designated as a Natura 2000 area. Just before the end of the route you can take a look around at Tuincentrum Princenbosch, on the edge of the forest area. This purely natural garden center has a park-like design with hedges and large trees, so that it fits in with the surrounding nature.
