Tour of Lankheet, Haaksbergerveen and Eibergen

You will experience a wonderful cycling day between Haasbergen and Eibergen. Here you will find natural beauty, tranquility and cultural history. For example, from junction 52 you enter Het Lankheet. The history of this 500 hectare estate dates back to 1188! Here you can still see an old farm landscape with ash trees, hedgerows and coppice groves. In 2004, reed basins were constructed to improve water management. Further on you cycle through the Haaksbergerveen. In this former raised bog area you drive past vast heathlands. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal for a day of relaxation. You make a shortcut through Germany, after which you arrive at the Berkel. In Eibergen you can admire the Old Matthew Church from 1500. Just outside the village you pass the centuries-old Mallumse Mill. Via Het Lankeet you drive to Farm Apartments & Camping't Katreel.
