A day of relaxation in the Achterhoek

In this picturesquely beautiful region you drive through groves, lanes and along meandering streams in narrow valleys. Here and there you see hedgerows and authentic farms. You cycle through a sparsely populated region, ideal for slowing down and relaxing. You pass through several hamlets, such as Brinkheurne and Kotten. For a long time, the Achterhoek was an area difficult to reach and travel. The infrastructure has improved since the nineteenth century.
