Description
The routes that start with JOL are walking routes that we make every week in and around Twente from Oldenzaal. We drive to the starting point by car and then walk the route in two stages. We always try to have a coffee point halfway. Where that is not possible, we have the drink with us.
We will provide the routes with photos and possibly a better description after a walk.
This is a route through one of the most beautiful areas of Twente. You walk in the border region through the Netherlands and Germany. A wooded area with heath and a few ash trees in Germany. Halfway along the route there is a rustic break point at the catering facility of a camping/bungalow park. In the wooded part you pass the springs, where several streams originate. In short, a beautiful walk. The area is especially beautiful in winter.
