Description
The routes that start with JOL are walking routes that we make every week in and around Twente from Oldenzaal. We drive by car to the starting point and then walk the route in two stages. We always try to have a coffee point half way through. Where that is not possible, we have the drink with us.

With this route we drive by car to the parking lot at the Mediamarkt in Nordhorn. From there we walk a few kilometers exactly on the border of Germany and the Netherlands. We walk along the Bergvennen. If you want to extend the route there, there is a sign with extra short walking routes through a swamp area indicated along the route. after another 7.5 kilometers you enter Nordhorn and you walk along the river Vechte. We walk into the center where you can eat and drink. Then you walk back along the Almelo-Nordhorn canal back to the car.
