Tour of Tholen and Sint Philipsland

From't Appeltje you drive to the city center of Bergen op Zoom. Here you will find many beautiful monumental buildings. What a nice historic atmosphere! From here you can quickly cycle to Tholen. In the old city center you can still experience the historic atmosphere of a fortified town. The ramparts and fortifications, for example, are still largely intact. You will also see beautiful monumental buildings, such as the Church of Our Lady. Then you drive past the Rammegors, a salt marsh and mudflat reserve, to Sint Philipsland: an island surrounded by the Krammer, the Krabbenkreek and the Oosterschelde. Enjoy a well-deserved lunch here at Grand Café with Shmaak before cycling back via the nice old Steenbergen. You will also discover the Zoomland Estate. This was once a large swamp, now it is a damp forest.
