36 km long cycle route
The four lakes of Maribo merge into each other, but the cycle route runs along the two largest lakes: Søndersø and Røgbølle Sø. Halfway through the route you will find the'Bird Tower\\\', located on the Røgbølle lake. From here you have a beautiful view and there are tables and benches where you can enjoy your homemade packed lunch. Between Søndersø and Røgbølle Sø lies the idyllic Søholt estate, which is definitely worth a visit. On the way back you cycle past the Nature School with a fantastic view of Søndersø and you cycle on a beautiful nature trail to the Frilandsmuseet. You will enjoy a formidable and picturesque view of the lakes along the entire route. Tip: Bring binoculars if you like bird watching!
