Holiday Park De Ossenberg is an ideal base for a hike through the rolling forests. First, you'll walk through De Ginkel Estate. The rolling landscape was created by snowmelt. It's a wonderfully relaxing walk here, as the forests are among the most peaceful in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The many straight paths reflect the classic estate layout. About halfway along, you'll walk through part of De Laan Estate, which was once part of the domains of Amerongen Castle. Then, you'll walk a stretch along the Amerongse Spoor, a connecting road already indicated on 17th-century maps. Via Het Hek Estate and the Utrechtse Spoor, you'll return to Overberg. After your walk, you're welcome to enjoy a snack and a drink on the pleasant terrace of Horeca De Bosrand.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
