Hitting and kicking with Ben and Chris

Via the guard, through the Kiltunnel the route continues along the Dordse Kil. Where along   the water is the first restaurant stop planned. With this tour we stay in line with our previous bike ride, for those who were present, because unfortunately this restaurant is closed on Sunday :) A drink for this break is therefore carried along in the panniers. The route goes through the city park of Dordrecht to Dubbeldam, where we will enjoy the first course of our lunch in a unique spot. Then we go via dikes towards the beautiful old city of Dordrecht. A city located at the intersection of the rivers Merwede, Noord and Oude Maas. This is the busiest river crossing point in Europe. At this beautiful spot we enjoy the second course of our lunch with a beautiful view of the water. After lunch we drive a bit through the historic inner city with harbors and ancient warehouses that remind us of the prosperous past.

Via Oud Krispijn we leave Dordt  and head back to the Hoekse Waard.

Via some winding dikes we go over a special bicycle bridge over the A16 through the tunnel again. One last moment of rest at the only picnic bench that we encounter on the route because unfortunately, there are no catering facilities at this break spot.

Then a few more kilometers of pedaling and then we're going to eat again!
