Your route starts at De Bongaard. You explore large and small places in the Westland. This region is best known for greenhouse horticulture. Farming has been going on in this area for centuries. In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, horticulture took off here due to the relatively high temperatures in the winter thanks to the moderating sea breeze.
