Cycling in the Helden woods

The starting point of this route is in Reuver, North Limburg, near De Witte Stein. It is the ideal starting point to explore the area around Reuver. You can park here for free and enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. From here you cycle in the direction of the Maas to make the crossing to Kessel with the ferry. You then quickly cycle into the Heldense Bossen, a beautiful piece of nature. The pine wood was shipped to Liège via the drainage canal. The Maasduinen turned this area into a special hilly landscape. A great piece of nature to explore by bike! After cycling through the Heldense Bossen, you cycle via Baarlo and Tegelen towards Germany. You cycle through nature reserves Heidemoore and Schlucht. Here you have a beautiful view of the Maas valley in various places.
