Cycling route on Tholen

Your route starts at Hotel Tholen and Restaurant JuNa, on the cozy Kaaij in Tholen. Tholen is one of the smaller islands within Zeeland. You can smell the salty scent of the sea almost everywhere here. With its picturesque towns and tranquil nature, it is a true cycling gem. You cycle over car-free dikes through the vast polder land. Get some fresh air and enjoy the peace and quiet. Now that's relaxing! Get off in Sint Annaland, a village with a historic atmosphere. From the dike you have a beautiful view over the water of the Mastgat. There is a flour mill from 1801 at the marina of Stavenisse. Further on you drive through Sint Maartensdijk, and at the Markt you can taste the atmosphere of a bygone era.
