French Maastricht
In Maastricht you drive along the park-like right bank of the Maas. It is a popular place to sit by the water when the weather is nice. Here you will experience the French feeling that you will find in more places in Maastricht. In the distance you can see the thirteenth-century Sint-Servaasbrug, the oldest bridge in the Netherlands. You will also see the famous Bonnefantenmuseum and the iconic Center Céramique.

Church tower of Gulpen
In Gulpen there is a striking church tower to which St. Peter's Church was once attached. The church tower dates from the thirteenth century and, given the thick walls of one and a half to two meters, originally also served as a defensive structure. The medieval St. Peter's Church was demolished in the 1920s. About 250 meters away, a new, neo-Romanesque Sint-Petruskerk was built in the Rosstraat.
