Through the Limburg hills

Your route starts at Landhotel Inkelshoes, with the beautiful adjacent Holiday Homes Inkelshoes. From Epen you will cycle through the green hills of Limburg. Along the way you will pass old half-timbered houses, churches and water mills. You will cycle through several charming hamlets to Belgium. You will cycle through Wallonia for a while, although in Sippenaeken, for example, you will hear more Limburgish than French. You will climb to the border crossing with the Netherlands, after which you will quickly descend. You will pass two water mills: the Vaalsbroekermolen from 1776 and the Frankenhofmolen from 1736. In Holset you will see the old HH Lambertus and Genovevakerk. In the beautiful border village of Oud-Lemiers you will see the twelfth-century Sint-Catharinakapel. Then you will cycle through the nice German village of Orsbach. In Overheul you will see the Commandeursmolen, a water mill from the thirteenth century.
