Tour of Winterswijk, Corle and Henxel

Your route starts at Restaurant De Voortwisch. The Winterswijk National Landscape covers approximately 22,000 hectares and consists mainly of beautiful semi-open areas with alternating small plots and large ash trees. Here and there you will see some bushes, avenues or hedgerows and you will even come across some raised bogs. The large open quarry at Ratum is particularly special, because geological deposits from the Tertiary have been found here that are relatively close to the surface. Also stop at Berenschot\\\'s Watermolen, a mill from 1652 on the Slingebeek in the De Baekendelle nature reserve. At Wijngaard Hesselink, the grapes are grown as sustainably as possible. In fact, as little energy and electricity as possible is used when harvesting the grapes. A nice place to take a break!
