From Abcoude you drive along the banks of the Abcoudermeer. Get a breath of fresh air before cycling along the path along the Holendrecht. You will soon pass through Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. You will see a mix of old and new buildings here. Along the Amstel you have a beautiful view of the rippling water and reed collars. On the other side is the Rondehoep. Just like the Beemster, this polder is a characteristic reclamation landscape with a unique history. The allotment pattern from the period 1100-1300 is still visible. Cycling along the Waver you pass the Botshol on the right, a nature and tranquility area. From Stokkelaarsbrug you continue along the next river: the Winkel.
