Tour of Dwingelderveld, Ruinen and Dwingeloo

Your route starts at Camperparc Stee in Lhee. You will soon cycle through National Park Dwingelderveld. You will cycle through fragrant coniferous forests and along rolling heathlands and fens. With a bit of luck you will come across the flock of sheep that grazes this area, a glimpse back in time. Further on you will cycle through the forests of Echtenerzand. At Het Groene Geschenk you can get off for a visit to the cozy tearoom. The route then takes you along the Wold Aa and the vast meadows. Just past Benderse you can take a look at the authentic sheepfold that stands on the edge of the Dwingelderveld. Via the beautiful brink village of Dwingeloo you cycle back to Lhee.
