Your route starts at Camping & Gastenverblijf De Brembroeken. On the other side of the Maas you drive into the Maasduinen National Park. A unique river dune landscape where you drive many kilometers through the rolling forests and heathlands. Here you see the ruins of Kasteel Bleyenbeek and the Nooit Gedacht, a corn mill from 1958. Back on the left bank of the Maas you drive along the Maasheggen, a centuries-old custom to separate agricultural plots. Via Landgoed Geysteren you drive to the Boschhuizerbergen. These higher sandy soils form a drift sand area, on which many pine forests have been planted. In the heart grows juniper scrub and there are still a few drift sand corners, which are enclosed by the trees. On the edge of the area are swamp forests and marshy meadows. You drive back via Overloon.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
