Cycling route: 122157
Provided by: Groots Genieten
First you drive to Lonneker. Here you see the Jacobus de Meerdere church from 1912, just outside the village you pass the Lonneker Molen, a corn mill from 1851. The countryside around Losser belongs to the National Landscape Northeast Twente. Here you cycle through a lovely landscape with high fields, streams, hedgerows and lanes that are lined with deciduous trees. From junction 4 you cycle a bit through the valley of the river De Dinkel. You make a trip to Germany, where you cycle along the Gildehauser peat and through the town of Gronau. Just below Glanerbrug you come through the Aamsveen, a nature reserve with swamp forests, heathland and poor grassland. The route ends with a visit to the heart of Enschede.
