The green lung between Delft and Zoetermeer

Your route starts at Sfera Zoetermeer. This route introduces you to the varied nature between Zoetermeer and Delft. This way you will discover the Westerpark, a recreational area that was built around 1980. Here you will find a mix of water features, forests and grasslands. Just like in the Dobbeplas, another natural gem on your route. The Bieslandse Bos was created around 1985 for timber production, but now has a recreational function. Here you will find a variety of swamp forests and fields where Galloway cattle and Icelandic horses graze. In between you will pass through the Delftse Hout city park, where the Grote Plas is located. In the Balijbos you see many beech, ash and alder trees.
