Walking through the Westerpark and Buytenpark

Your route starts at Sfera Zoetermeer. On the edge of Zoetermeer you can take a varied walk. First you walk through the Westerpark, an important link in the Green Heart. Many native trees and shrubs have been planted, and you can also see beautiful water features. You can spot numerous birds and butterflies while you walk along the winding path through the flower-rich grasslands. The route runs in the shape of a figure eight, so you can easily shorten your walk. At junction 55 you can decide whether you want to take another tour through the Buytenpark: a hilly area with hedgerows, small bushes and natural banks of water features.
