De Maasduinen National Park is a beautiful terraced landscape with lower and higher sandy soils, the Maas valley and a plateau. You will find many conifers and heather there. The starting point for this cycle tour is just outside Bosscherheide. From here you cycle to Elsteren and then to Well on the banks of the Maas. In this town you will find the medieval Well castle of the same name. This complex was built in the fourteenth century and the castle was severely damaged during the Second World War. The buildings were then restored to their former glory. Take a look at this castle with its bridges, the tithe barn and the historic garden and imagine yourself in times long gone. Since 1986, a training institute has been located in the castle. Then you cycle across green estates to Vierlingsbeek.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
