The most beautiful areas of Liège
This route takes you through the gently rolling landscape of the Condroz. This area has undulating hills of 200 to 300 meters high with forests, meadows and farmland that alternate. Because of the peace and the mild climate that can be found here, you will automatically relax completely. The name'Condroz\\\' is derived from the name of a tribe that inhabited this region at the time of the Roman invasion. Furthermore, the ramparts of the Land of Herve, the mysterious High Fens and the fertile plateaus of Haspengouw with the fruit garden of Belgium are also worth a visit.

The start and end point of this route is Modave Castle. This beautiful castle is built at a height of 60 meters on a protruding rock. The buildings belonging to the estate are located in a beautiful nature reserve of 500 hectares. Originally the castle was a fortress, but in the 17th century it became a family castle.
