Description

Get to know the area through which the River Ourthe flows in Luxembourg. The water can flow fiercely here, but it can also be soothing and mysterious. This gigantic body of water is in any case a picture to see for every cyclist. This route takes you through no less than three geographical regions: the Ardennes, the Condroz and the Famenne.

Durbuy, Warre and Barvaux
The starting point of this cycle route is in the medieval city of Durbuy. This small town is a real tourist attraction in Wallonia, although it only consists of a few streets. Around this town you will find plenty of lush forests, ancient rock formations and beautiful parks. From Durbuy you continue to Warre and Barvaux through a beautiful valley around De Ourthe.

The Labyrinth of Barvaux
In Barvaux you can take a look at the old former town hall or the Labyrinth of Barvaux. You can stroll through this labyrinth while getting acquainted with the different themes that are highlighted. Think, for example, of Peter Pan and the Maya. From Barvaux you cycle back to Durbuy along the edge of the Bois De Chapli forest.
