Tour of Steenbergen

Your walking route starts at Camping Ronostrand. From here, you'll walk to the fourteenth-century Mensinge Estate, where you can visit the fully restored manor house. The estate surrounds Mensinge manor house, a manor house first mentioned in 1381. Because the house was inhabited for a long time and has remained virtually unchanged in recent decades, its interior offers a good impression of how people lived in the past. You can see the original inventory of the house, such as cabinets and other furniture, porcelain, and glassware. Not tired of walking yet? Then continue on to the beautiful village green of Roden. Here you'll see, among other things, the Winsinghhof at number 10, a farmhouse dating from 1672. The nave of St. Catherine's Church was built in the fourteenth century.
