Tour of Steenbergen

From the starting point, walk to the 14th-century Mensinge Estate, where you can visit the fully restored manor house. The estate surrounds Mensinge manor house; a country house was first mentioned as early as 1381. Because the house was inhabited for a long time and has remained virtually unchanged in recent decades, the interior provides a good idea of how people used to live. You can see the house's original inventory there, such as cabinets and other pieces of furniture, porcelain, and glassware. Not tired of walking yet? Then walk a little further onto the beautiful village square (Brink) of Roden. Here you will see, among other things, the Winsinghhof at number 10, a farmhouse dating from 1672. The nave of the St. Catherine's Church was built in the 14th century.
