Description
The core of Hilvarenbeek was liberated on October 4, 1944. However, the war was not over for the families living on the Groot Loo. Until October 27, 1944 there was a front line here and there was fierce fighting.
This bike tour takes you along traces of the war. You start on the Vrijthof, where the Phoenix stands with the names of 25 war victims.
The route is approximately 21.5 km long.
