Tour of Renkum, Ede and Wolfheze

Your route starts at Boscafe De Beken. The nearby Edese Bos is one of the oldest forests in the area. Beautiful cycle paths run through the area to Otterlo and the beautiful areas of De Vlinderdas, Edese Heide, Noord Ginkel, and De Mossel. At the edge of the Ginkelse Heide, the forest is bordered by the Tra. The Scots pines here are over a hundred years old. You cycle via Wolfheze, Ede, and Renkum to Oosterbeek across the Ginkelse Heide. Castles, estates, and stately homes blend seamlessly with nature in a rolling, rural landscape. The heathland was an airborne landing site during World War II, and several monuments have been erected to commemorate this, such as the Airborne Monument Ginkelse Heide and the Airborne Monument Wolfheze.
