Cycling route: 120885
Provided by: route.nl
Your route starts at De Beekdalhoeve. The nearby Edese forest is one of the oldest forests in the area. Beautiful cycle paths run through the area to Otterlo and the beautiful areas De Vlinderdas, Edese heide, Noord Ginkel and De Mossel. On the edge of the Ginkelse heath, the forest is bordered by the Tra. The Scots pines here are more than a hundred years old. You cycle via Wolfheze, Ede and Renkum to Oosterbeek over the Ginkelse heath. Castles, estates and stately buildings go hand in hand with nature in a rolling, rural region. The heathland was an airborne landing site during the Second World War and several monuments have been erected as a reminder of this, such as the Airborne Monument Ginkelse Heide and the Airborne Monument Wolfheze.
