Cycling from Haps along the beautiful Maas bank

You get on your bike in Haps. This Brabant village is located in the middle of the Land van Cuijk. After about ten kilometers you arrive in Cuijk. The area around the village was inhabited hundreds of years before the beginning of the common era. A settlement dating from approximately 700 years BC has been found in the Kampse Veld. Continue your journey along the banks of the Maas towards Grave. Just outside the village you pass Bronkhorst Castle. It is unknown exactly when this lock was built. In any case, the history certainly goes back to 1360. You now continue your route in a southeasterly direction back to your starting point. End your day in Haps with a delicious ice cream at IJs & Spijs!
