Cycling through the hidden Raam Valley

In the middle of the Land van Cuijk lies the quintessential Brabant Haps. Centuries ago, the Celts settled here on the sand ridges. Many finds, such as urns, date back a thousand years BC. You start your bike ride from this picturesque village. The first twenty kilometers you cycle through the beautiful Raamvallei. The landscape alternates with rows of trees, beautiful vistas, old farms and extensive orchards. Via Velp you arrive at Grave. This centuries-old fortified town on the Maas has managed to retain an authentic city center despite many sieges over the centuries. You leave the town along beautifully restored buildings and national monuments. You meander along the Maas until Beers. Once back in Haps you end your day with a well-deserved ice cream at the award-winning IJs & Spijs. Delicious!
