Description
Nice route from the center of Leeuwarden via the west side of the Dokkumer Ee to Burdaard and back via the east side of Dokkumer Ee. You pass Barlehiem on both sides. On the west side you cross the famous Eleven Cities Bridge. Burdaard is a beautiful village and a terrace by the water. Back in Wyns there is a beautiful terrace on the water (restaurant De Klinze). Via Lekkum and artists' village Snakkerburen you cycle back to the center of Leeuwarden. Along the way you cycle on a beautiful cycle path through the meadows. Route can be shortened considerably by taking the ferry at Wyns.
