Tour of Lunteren, Harskamp and Barneveld

This route is incredibly diverse: sand drifts, forests, heathland, and arable land interspersed with fens and streams. You'll soon pass the Werk aan de Daatselaar dam with its lock. This defensive structure incorporates the existing Slaperdijk into the Grebbe Line. Stop off at the Dutch Poultry Museum in Barneveld, a perfect spot for a break! In Barneveld, you'll also discover the De Schaffelaar estate, home to a magnificent castle. Its history dates back to the sixteenth century. Make a stop at I love Glamping on the edge of Harskamp. Here you'll spend the night in a cozy tent with plenty of room for everyone and a private kitchen and bathroom. Just before the finish, you'll pass the Germanic Well, a several-meter-deep pit from which local farmers drew water in the Iron Age.
