Tour of Lunteren, Harskamp and Barneveld

This route is very varied: from sand drifts, forest, heathland, and arable land interspersed with fens and streams. You will soon pass the Werk aan de Daatselaar with its dam lock. This defensive structure incorporates the existing Slaperdijk into the Grebbelinie. Stop briefly at the Dutch Poultry Museum in Barneveld, the perfect place to take a break! In Barneveld, you will also discover the De Schaffelaar estate, home to a beautiful castle. Its history dates back to the sixteenth century. Make a stop at I love Glamping on the outskirts of Harskamp. Here, you will spend the night in a cozy tent with plenty of room for everyone and a private kitchen and bathroom. Just before the end point, you will pass De Germaanse Put, a meters-deep pit from which local farmers drew water during the Iron Age.
