Tour of Lunteren, Harskamp and Barneveld

This route is very versatile: sand drifts, forests, heathland, arable land interspersed with fens and streams. You will soon pass the Werk aan de Daatselaar with dam lock. This defense work involves the existing Slaperdijk in the Grebbe Line. In Barneveld you will discover the De Schaffelaar estate, where there is a beautiful castle. Its history goes back to the sixteenth century. Make a stopover at I love Glamping on the edge of Harskamp. Here you will spend the night in a cozy tent, with enough space for everyone and your own kitchen and bathroom. Just before the end point you will pass The Germanic Well, a meter deep pit from which farmers in the Iron Age fetched water from the area.
