Description

The Schoorlse dunes are among the widest in the Netherlands and you will find the highest dune there. It is beautiful there every season, but when the heather blooms in August it is extra attractive to take a walk here. The Boswachterspad Noordzeewandeling of 10 km gives a beautiful impression of the varied dune landscape. Halfway through the walk you can enjoy the view of the North Sea on the terrace of Paal 29.
The walk starts at Buitencentrum Schoorlse Duinen of Staatsbosbeheer (SBB). You can choose from various routes from 4 to 23 km. The Boswachterspad Noordzeewandeling is indicated with blue arrows. This is useful, because the reception for your mobile phone is limited here. Due to the differences in height and paths with loose sand, the walk is somewhat more difficult.
