Description
We parked our car in the parking lot of the Brockenbahn at Drei Annen Hohne and then we traveled with the Brocken narrow gauge railway (steam locomotive) to the highest mountain of the Harz,"Brocken\\\" (1141m high). From there we walked back on paved road (about 4 km) and through wooded area with beautiful views (7 km) to Drei Annen Hohne.
The Brockenweg (paved road) is very busy with (hard) runners and cyclists on nice days. In addition, a tip is to have warm clothing with you at least for the top of Brocken, it can be cold and windy!
