Description
Your walking route starts at IJs & Spijs in Haps, one of the best ice cream parlors in the Netherlands. In a tiny village in Brabant, ice cream and chocolate are made with passion and love. From the small village you can take a nice walk to some of the Beerse Estates: Ossenbroek, Nieuwenhof and de Dennen. Here you will see an old cultural landscape of forests, streams, hedgerows, meadows and fields. The avenues here are often centuries old, who knows whose footsteps you will follow here. In Haps, just before you return to your starting point, you will see the neo-Gothic St. Nicholas Church from 1899 (look to the left when you have reached the main road in Haps). Back to square one, it's high time for an ice cream!
NB; At the starting point you can use the parking lot on the church square (80/90 places).
